Slow progress... Still

I am currently looking for a new job which is again impeding the time I have available for MusicBridge development. Sorry people.

If anyone is looking for a MS based Web Development Manager in Iowa (Dubuque, Iowa City, Cedar Rapids) then let me know...

hi, great project, it is very much what I need. However, as I am on wmp11/vista (and the readme workaround didn't seem to work) it isn't working for me. Have you ever considered opensourcing the code? I am trying to roll something in powershell now.

Can you describe how the workaround failed. Most people have found this to work fine on Vista including myself.

hmm, yeah, i don't have logs for you but it seemed to enumerate through the library continually 'pointing' at the first element it grabbed. Lots of messages like applying "Artist D" to "artist A". I am on vista 64bit which seems to be grumpy with many things.

I really just needed to get my ratings over. I ended up doing a small powershell script to push my itunes library into WMP. http://cornasdf.blogspot.com/2007/05/moving-from-itunes-to-wmp-11.html

Not sure what you wrote in but let me know if you open your code.

That's a pretty cool script. I have never come across powershell but it seems you were able to do something that took a lot more code in .NET
